Albert Einstein's first wife, Mileva Maric, struggles to maintain her identity as a scientist and an individual while being married to one of the world's most famous scientists. We follow Mileva's story as young student attempting to make a name for herself in a male dominated field. She meets and is courted by the charming Albert and the two become scientific partners. Soon, their friendship and partnership leads to marriage. But unfortunately when she discovers that being the wife of Albert Einstein wasn't what she had in mind for her life, the two begin to grow apart as Albert's fame increases and Mileva is left in his shadow.
