Lords of Light Jeffrey Stanley

Before Stephen Hawking there was Nikola Tesla. In this period drama set in 19th-century New York, eccentric Serbo-Croatian inventor Tesla is bedeviled by Thomas Edison in the war of the currents. Young Tesla and his Victorian era brat pack including Mark Twain, Anne Morgan and George Westinghouse take on Edison and his formidable corporate backer, the power broker J.P. Morgan, to determine the course of the 20th-century. Romantic and familial complications arise when Anne, Morgan's daughter, falls head over heels in love with her father's main competitor, the wizardlike Tesla.
