The Fearfully Great Mattan Hamou

Set in the late 1800’s, Rosa Morris is a retired scientist turned journalist. She is tasked by the New York Herald to write an article about a vicious feud between two champions of paleontology: Edward Cope and Othniel Marsh. As Rosa investigates the rivalry, she becomes entangled in the affections and charms of the two paleontologists. Both Cope and Marsh extend personal invitations for Rosa to join their fossil expeditions in Wyoming. Once she arrives, Rosa makes a shocking scientific discovery of her own. Now Rosa has unwittingly placed herself in the crossfire of the bloodiest feud the scientific world has ever seen.
