The Man Who Wore a Sanitary Pad Rohan Narula

When Murugan, a small town factory worker in India, discovers his wife is sacrificing sanitary pads for their milk budget, he becomes obsessed with creating a cheaper pad. His journey to make a cheaper pad faces stiff resistance from the people of the small town especially when he decides to test his prototype pads on himself. As he faces social ostracism, his wife and then his mother leave him. Despite the ostracism and being abandoned by his family, Murugan continues on his mission to make a cheaper sanitary pad, realizing the great impact it will have on the rural women of India.
