Based on a true story. England 1969. When 60 year old May Savidge's medieval house is threatened with demolition by the local council, she goes to extreme lengths to save it - numbering every brick and beam, taking it down, transporting it to the seaside, and spending the rest of her life rebuilding it - by herself.
