Between Blood and Sand is the story of a grieving biotech scientist in Afghanistan self-destructing after the loss of his son to a land mine. Through an unexpected friendship with an Afghan father and son, he finds purpose amidst his grief—and originates an idea with the potential to save thousands of lives.
