Chandra Bradley Richie

Chandra, a physics prodigy, dreams of escaping the politics of 1930s India and working with his heroes at Cambridge. On the boat to England, he makes a revolutionary discovery that implies the existence of black holes. But far from meeting a warm reception at Cambridge, he unknowingly enters a new kind of political hell, fraught with ego and prejudice. Suddenly, he's caught in his own struggle for independence, with his career, his integrity, and his chance at happiness with the woman he loves all hanging in the balance.
