Atrocity Adam Kargman, 7:10

An experiment on obedience to authority conducted at Yale University in the early 1960s, by social psychologist Stanley Milgram, was a shock to the publics' notion of its own goodness. Researchers were astounded by the results, which showed the extent to which subjects would inflict harm on others at the order of the researcher.
