Charlie Cahill was a top Dallas forensics detective, but a personal tragedy brings her back to her hometown of Big Elk, Texas. When a series of arsons strikes the small town in the middle of a long dry season, Sheriff Atkins convinces Charlie to help in the investigation. But Big Elk isn't a big city and doesn't have a big city's resources. Now Charlie must play "MacGuyver" and use simple, easy-to-find items to catch the arsonist before he starts a fire that spreads to the entire town.
