Tamar Feinkind
Tamar graduated from Northwestern as a pre-med theater major, and just recently her heartwarming medical drama, ACIDS, was named the 2023 Black List Sloan Fellow and was accepted into the 2023 Black List x WIF Feature Residency. A published and produced writer, Tamar’s socially relevant scripts sprout from growing up in a culturally Jewish home and have placed or finaled in numerous contests, including Nicholls and The Austin Film Festival. Tamar founded the storytelling workshop Mothers Unleashed and helped run the theater company Fresh Produced, where she co-produced seven full-length plays including her own piece, WINGS. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from Stephens College.
