Mayanka Goel
Mayanka Goel is a screenwriter, journalist, and artist, based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Mumbai, India, she graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2022 with an MFA in Dramatic Writing. She is currently working at Nickelodeon in Los Angeles, CA. Her works, spanning across TV, Film, and Theatre, are often inspired by real-life events and folktales she grew up reading. They feature women of colour as leads dealing with questions of identity and grief, all with a little bit of comedy. Because, she says, we just don’t have enough of those.
