Camille Hamadé

Camille Hamadé is a French-Lebanese director and writer currently based in New York and completing his MFA in Directing at Columbia University. Camille dabbled in economics before moving to London to receive his Bachelor in Filmmaking, where he then worked as a freelancer on a variety of productions. Camille is a 2022 BAFTA Newcomer and was selected to join the Co-Production program at La Fémis in Paris as well as the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. His short films have participated in various film festivals, with PENDULUM (2017) shortlisted for Promofest’s “Short Of The Year” and SHOVEL (2022) nominated as Finalist for Best Short Film in the USA Film Festival’s International Competition.
