Mark Ingber
Mark Ingber is a Brooklyn, NY based writer, and director. After graduating as a Student Arts Fellow from the University of Virginia with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Film Studies, Mark moved to New York City to pursue filmmaking. Since then, Mark has held permanent positions for Academy Award-winning director Roger Ross Williams and for the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival. He has worked on narrative and documentary films that have premiered at Tribeca, Cannes Critic’s Week, Palm Springs Shorts Fest, Outfest, the Santiago International Film Festival, the Independent Film Festival of Boston, the Virginia Film Festival, and more, as well as for broadcast television on CNN and HBO. His work has been recognized by the Black Family Short Film award and, most recently the NYU Sloan Foundation Feature Film Grant, awarding $100k in production funds towards his first feature, Terroir. He is currently finishing his MFA in Film Production at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
