Anna Vecellio
Anna Vecellio is a second-year screenwriting fellow at AFI. As a writer, she is heavily influenced by her childhood in the South. Her work often explores the dichotomy of southern identity and flawed protagonists produced by such environments. Anna previously worked as a short film and screenplay programmer at the Atlanta Film Festival. Her work has been honored by ScreenCraft, WeScreenplay, The Sundance Episodic Lab, and the Film Independent Episodic Lab.
