Victoria Rivera
Victoria Rivera is a New York-based writer and director who hails from Colombia. Her short films have screened at Academy Qualifying festivals around the world including Tribeca Film Festival, Palm Springs, and FICCI, among others. In 2018, she was awarded the Student Film Award by the Directors Guild of America for her short film Verde, and won the National Board of Review award in 2010 for her short film In the Dark. She is currently enrolled at Columbia University’s MFA Film program where she is writing her first feature and developing her thesis short, which was recently awarded the GiGadgets Production grant.
