Adam Sharp

Adam received his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and previously graduated from Southwestern College with a B.A. in English and a Theatre minor. Adam has had productions of his written works performed around the country, received multiple commissions, and has been a part of numerous theatre festivals. In 2008 he co-founded Box Wine Theatre and currently serves as Resident Playwright and Associate Artistic Director. He’s been a K.C.A.C.T.F. David Mark Cohen Play Prize finalist (2006 & 2011), a play finalist for the NYU Goldberg Play Prize (2016) and a finalist for the Atlantic Council’s Art of Future Warfare Project (2017). Most recently, Adam was also commissioned to write two 1-minute plays for the NYC Indie Theatre One-Minute Play Festival (2018).
