Mirella Christou
Mirella is an award-winning writer and filmmaker who began her journey in journalism, where she drew inspiration to adapt larger-than-life true stories to the screen. She completed her MFA at NYU's Tisch School for the Arts in Dramatic Writing and was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Prize for "Seven Eternities." She was a fellow at Film Independent for their Episodic Lab sponsored by Netflix. Her screenplay was named one of the top unproduced scripts in Canada, and adapted into the short “Lady Electric.”
