Lilian Mehrel
Lilian Mehrel is an award-winning writer and director with a fresh sense of humor and vision. Her films have premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and won her awards including from ABC/Disney, Alfred P. Sloan, the PD Soros Fellowship, and student award nominations for Kodak and BAFTA. Lilian was born to a Kurdish-Iranian mother and German-Jewish father, sparking her life-long experience of multiple worlds. From Miami public school she went to Dartmouth College, where she wrote and illustrated a 226-page family memoir. Lilian also writes comedy television and created a virtual reality narrative. She is a current MFA candidate at New York University's Tisch Graduate Film.
