Julianne Jigour
A California native, Julianne Jigour has had staged readings and productions of her plays in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Aspen, and New York. She has been a finalist for the Disquiet Short Play Contest and a semifinalist for the Gary Garrison Ten-Minute Play Award. As a finalist for the 2014 Steeltown Film Factory competition, Julianne received funding to produce her short film PAPER UMBRELLAS. Her TV pilot ANTARCTICA was selected as a winner of the 2014 Carnegie Mellon / Alfred P. Sloan Foundation competition. Julianne received her MFA in dramatic writing from Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied with Rob Handel and received the West Coast Drama Alumni Clan Award for Dramatic Writing.
