Andrew Stamper
Andrew has a M.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University in Dramatic Writing with an emphasis in Screenwriting. He obtained his undergraduate degrees in Communication and Film Studies in 2009 from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Andrew also served five years in the U.S. Military as a journalist for the U.S. Navy. While writing is certainly a passion of his, it is his unexplainable adoration for films that has been an inspiration to pursue a writing career in film and television. After growing up on the small island of Bermuda, he moved to the United States at a young age and saw Ghostbusters on the big screen for the first time. Infatuated with the film, he saw it again. And then again. And again. And for good measure, once again. Perhaps it was the lasting affect Ghostbusters had on him, or perhaps it is the appreciation for a quit witted, well-plotted television show, either way, film and television will always be a deep-rooted love in his life. Andrew is a member of the Dramatists Guild. Andrew Stamper was awarded a Screenwriting grant at Carnegie Mellon in 2011 for Red Hot Scoville
