Meg Gifford
Upon entering UCLA’s MFA screenwriting program Meg Gifford won the school’s annual Screenwriting Showcase event three years running, won the Alfred. P. Sloan screenwriting contest in 2010 and captured the Samuel Goldwyn Writing Awards’ top honor in 2010. She was hired to co-write a feature length film for American Trademark Pictures during her first year at UCLA, did a rewrite for a Bollywood film last year and is currently under contract to adapt a book set in her hometown. Meg Gifford was awarded a Screenwriting grant at UCLA in 2010 for You Can't Patent the Sun
