Matthew Nolte Evans
Matthew Nolte Evans is an award-winning writer, filmmaker, and teacher based in New York City. Born and raised in Colorado, Matthew received his BFA in film from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where his thesis short, Racketeer, won the 2003 Goldfarb Production Award. He will graduate with his MFA from the Film Division of Columbia University’s Graduate School of the Arts in 2010, with an emphasis in screenwriting. Besides participating in the 2001 Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium, he has worked in development at Pressman Film, and has taught various undergraduate film sections at Columbia University, including American Film History and Genre Study. Matthew Nolte Evans was awarded a Screenwriting grant at Columbia in 2009 for The Wizard of Sussex
