Jim Young
Producer Jim Young’s first production was the award-winning documentary Year of the Bull which premiered on Showtime. He next produced the thriller, Homecoming, release by Paramount Pictures. Young then produced the dark comedy, Don McKay, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released theatrically by Image Entertainment.
Young’s next film, The Words, was the Closing Night Film at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and CBS Films released the film that Fall. Young also produced Lovelace, and Life of a King, which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival and was recently released theatrically this past year by Millennium Entertainment. The film recently received an NAACP Image Award nomination.
Most recently, Animus Films wrapped production on the historical drama The Man Who Knew Infinity based on the New York Times-bestseller of the same name by Robert Kanigel. Upcoming films include Cut Throat City and The Catcher Was a Spy.
