Filippo Conz
Filippo Conz earned a M.F.A. in Film Directing from Columbia University and a B.A. in Film Theory from Universitá Cattolica in his native Milan. His works have been screened in many international festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, Venice, Berlin, Los Angeles, SXSW, and Tribeca. His short film Concerto won the BAFTA/LA Award for Excellence in Aspen, the Audience Award at the Beijing Film Academy Film Festival, the National Board of Review Best Director Award and the Hollywood Foreign Press Award at the Columbia Film Festival. Conz has also worked extensively as a film editor in the past years editing features, documentaries and commercials for RAI, VBS TV, Gucci, Random House, Epson, Design Within Reach. Here and There, a feature film he edited, won the Grand Prix in the Critic’s Week section at Cannes 2012. He is based in New York, where he founded Zbabam Productions in 2007.
