Anjali Walter
Anjali Walter began her film career in her native New Delhi, India, as the founder and co-producer of an independent production company, M&W. She has produced documentaries, films, theater productions and radio spots for clients such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and the World Buddhist Culture Trust. As an M.F.A. candidate at New York University’s Graduate Film Program, Anjali has been the recipient of the Anna Havas and Tisch Scholarships in 2002 and 2003. During her time at NYU she has produced and directed a 16mm short film, Déjà Vu, a 16mm music video, one 35mm commercial for The Leprosy Mission India, and two documentaries, Skin and Jibhi. Her most recent project, The Man In My House is a 20-minute suspense drama that was shot on 35mm. Her feature film script, Jibhi Trails was awarded the Sloan Foundation Grant in 2004, and will be her next production.
