Seth Grossman
Seth Grossman was born and raised in Durham, N.C. He attended Princeton University and NYU film school. His short film Shock Act won the Best Narrative Short Award at the 2004 Tribeca Film Festival and the Gold Hugo for Best Student Film at the Chicago International Film Festival. His first feature film, tentatively entitled The Cool Season, is currently in post-production. The film, about two American brothers adrift in northern Thailand, features Ellen Burstyn and was produced through Unison Films, a company founded by Grossman and Manuel Michael. Grossman has also served as a co-producer on Kirill Mikhanovsky’s Sonhos de Peixes, currently in post-production in Brazil, and has several other feature projects in the pipeline. Seth Grossman was awarded a Screenwriting grant at NYU in 2002 for Boy in a Box and a Production grant at NYU in 2002 for Feedback
