Jessica Benhamou
Jessica Benhamou is a London-based, British-French writer and director with a background in investigative journalism. Her TV series, BARREN, set in the world of fertility clinics and egg banks, is part of the 2026 TIFF Sloan Science & Technology Project Pitch and is in development with Misfits Entertainment. The project was previously selected for the 2025 WFTV Kay Mellor Screenwriters' Lab and received a 2025 Society of Authors' Authors' Foundation Grant. Her feature film, BAMBI, explores the true story behind the world's most famous deer and is in development with Origin Pictures. It has received support from the Claims Conference and the Anglo-Austrian Society's Otto Harper Award. Her play, Mademoiselle Manet, was selected for the 2026 Criterion New Writing Scheme. Jessica is also a participant in the 2026 Directors UK Inspire Programme.
