Marimonda Belinda Schmid

An emotionally scarred Primatology PhD student and former Colombian refugee, is forced out of her comfort zone and back into the Colombian jungle to study a critically endangered species of brown spider monkey – the Marimonda, but when she arrives she discovers that the biggest threat to the monkeys is the destruction of the forest, and in order to save them she must confront the man responsible for the death of her parents.
