Convinced she's made a career-saving find in Alberta's competitive oil and gas world, Geologist Zoe Hill has yet to prove it: her company's running out of time and money to sustain her exploration. She needs her drilling crew to step it up before her company pulls the plug on her project, but they want to go home for Christmas, and she's already pushed them past their limits. To keep the crew on-site, Zoe leans on her friendship with Drill Supervisor Sean Carr. In doing so, she blurs professional and personal boundaries and is forced to face what happens when extreme work, ambition and lonliness collide.
