Ric Burns

Ric Burns is a documentary filmmaker. His films for PBS—which include Coney Island, The Donner Party, New York, Ansel Adams, Eugene O’Neill, Andy Warhol, The Pilgrims, The Chinese Exclusion Act, Oliver Sacks and Driving While Black—have won seven Emmys, three DuPont and two Peabody Awards. He was educated at Columbia and Cambridge University and lives in New York City.
