Writer Catherine Loerke is a doctor, but don’t ask her to diagnose you because now she writes heartfelt TV dramedies about weird, funny women who, when the world fails them, start worlds of their own. Raised in small-town RI, she resides in Brooklyn with her psychiatrist partner (other people’s, not hers!) and their 6-year-old. Cat’s stories mine her experiences as surgeon, management consultant, DEI professional, assistant (Mel Gibson extinguished cigarettes in coffee she made!), and motherless mother.
