Pamela Silver

Pamela Silver is a Professor of Biochemistry and Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School, and a member of Harvard's Wyss Institute of Biologically Inspired Engineering. She is also a member of the Graduate Programs in Systems Biology, Boiphysics and Chemical Biology, and Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Silver's research has been has been supported by the NIH, DARP, DOD, DOE, NSF, Novartis, Merck, and The Keck Foundation. She has been awarded an NIH MERIT award and is a a Fellow of the Radcliffe Institute. She has also served on numerous government and private advisory panels such as the Novartis Oncology Program, the Swiss National Science Foundation, and the Paul Glenn Institute for Aging Research. Dr. Silver was the Editor of Molecular Biology of the Cell, and has served on the Council of the American Society for Cell Biology and on the ASCB Committee for Women in Cell Biology. Dr. Silver is a founder and Board Member of the International iGEM competition.
