Mirella Christou is a Toronto-born writer with a professional background in journalism which she pursued prior to receiving her Master of Fine Arts from The Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2016. She’s written and directed several short films and is drawn to intensely character-driven stories that scratch at larger themes. She is the writer-director-producer of “Lady Electric,” a proof-of-concept film for a feature script. Mirella’s one-hour drama series pilot “Seven Eternities” is the winner of the Alfred P. Sloan prize for writing, which is primed for television development. Visit www.MirellaC.com for more.
