Noelia Rodríguez Deza

Noelia Rodríguez Deza is a filmmaker from Madrid, Spain. She received her BA in Media Studies at the Complutense University of Madrid and her Master's in Film Editing at the ECAM. She also studied Documentary Directing at EICTV, Cuba. Her films include fiction and non-fiction titles such as Dog Star, Siete Paraguas and Formol. Formol was official selection of more than seventy international film festivals, collecting awards at Documenta Madrid, FTII India, Relatos Cortos Merlo Argentina, and AIFI Sicily.

Noelia is currently a Screenwriting and Directing Film MFA candidate at Columbia University, NY. She is in post-production with her new short film, The Spaces Between the Silver Grains, while she writes her feature script Under Glass, which was awarded an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Screenwriting Award.
