Alexander Davidson

Alexander Davidson is a playwright and screenwriter, currently pursuing his MFA in Dramatic Writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He graduated in 2007 with distinction from Boston University with degrees in English and Film Studies. His plays have been produced at regional Kennedy Center American College Theater Festivals, the Boston Theater Marathon and NYU’s Festival of New Works. He is the 2007 recipient of BU’s Gilman Shakespeare Prize. His plays have been produced in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York. He is the recipient of the 2009 Rita & Burton Goldberg Award for his play, May the Devil Be Kinder.

Alexander Davidson was awarded a Screenwriting grant at NYU in 2008 for On the Twilight of Tomorrow and May the Devil Be Kinder, and in 2009 for The Infidel
