Jay Burke
Jay Burke is a rising filmmaker from Dartmouth, Massachusetts. He earned an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to his film career, he spent six years as a management consultant with Accenture, working at the company’s various offices in Chicago, Boston, and Sydney, Australia. He was also a new media specialist at an advertising agency in New York City. Burke recently served as Director of Photography on the basketball training series Building a Champion, shot in Los Angeles and starring Lakers coach Phil Jackson. He is the recipient of a 2005 screenwriting development award from the Alfred P. Sloan foundation for his feature script Whaling City. Currently he is hitting the festival circuit with his short film 1918: a short film and freelancing as a content developer for Major League Baseball.
