Ryan Eslinger
Ryan Eslinger was born in Alton, Illinois on August 9, 1981. Madness and Genius (2003) was the filmmaker's first feature film. The film, which Ryan wrote, directed and produced, premiered at the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival and was the 2003 recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Feature Film Prize in Science and Technology (awarded at the Hamptons Film Festival). The film also garnered Ryan a 2004 Independent Spirit Award nomination (the Someone to Watch Award). Ryan was honored with an acceptance into the 2004 Sundance Screenwriters Lab, the 2005 Sundance Directors Lab and the 2005 Cannes Film Festival Program Le Atelier. Ryan Eslinger won the Feature Film award at The Hamptons International Film Festival in 2003 for Madness and Genius
