Janet McIntyre
Janet McIntyre is an award-winning director and producer. Her documentary Covered Girls, about Muslim-American teenagers, was produced by Showtime and has been featured at festivals worldwide including Telluride, Clermont-Ferrand, and Toronto’s DocFest. Additional credits include Roger Corman’s Bloodfist 2050, Demian Lichtenstein’s Venus & Vegas, the PBS documentary Lost and Found, music videos with Peter Gabriel, Joseph Arthur, and Anton Corbijn, and commercials for Ford and Nike. She received her M.F.A. from New York University where she was awarded the prestigious Sloan Production Grant, and awards from Panavision, Maurice Kanbar and Kodak. She currently serves as Chair of the Producing Department, New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and is on the Board of Reviewers for America At A Crossroads, a PBS series on the challenges the United States faces in the war on terrorism.
