Kimberlie Nitti
Kimberlie Nitti grew up outside Chicago, where she developed a deep-seated desire to escape the Midwest. In 2002, she won a Sloan Foundation Award for her family drama screenplay Flying Lessons, and was also a semi-finalist in both the Chesterfield and Austin Film Festival screenwriting competitions. That same year, she graduated with an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television, where she received several department recognition notices for her work. She is currently working on a psychological thriller, Deadlines, and a treatment for a series of young adult novels, and is also shopping a new spec script, Legacy, with writing partner and producer Alex Lasker.
