Wynn Padula is currently a third-year M.F.A. Directing/Cinematography student at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. While earning his B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, he spent a semester at New York University and a trimester at Oxford University. Padula has directed several festival award-winning short films including The Breeze Team, which won 2nd Place at the Canadian International Film Festival, and Rainbow Klansman, an official selection at many prestigious festivals including The Mill Valley Film Festival, The Columbus Film Festival, The Grifften Film Festival and The Greenwich Film Festival. He was recently the recipient of a $25,000 Solan Foundation award and a Polonsky award for his script Lynx. Padula also recently served as Director of Photography for the UCLA thesis films Absolution and Passage. He is currently developing a feature-length script, which will be shot on location in Lafeyette, Louisiana this fall.
Wynn Padula was awarded a Production grant at UCLA in 2004 for Lynx
