Randall Dottin

Randall Dottin has won several awards including: exhibited by HBO for 2-years (2003), The DGA Award (Best African-American Student Filmmaker), and Gold Medal winner at the 2004 Student Academy Awards (Best Narrative  Film). His short film Lifted was sponsored by Fox Searchlight’s emerging directors program and earned many honors  including Best Short and Best Overall Film at the 2008 Texas Black  Film Festival.  Other honors include being named by INDIEWIRE as one of the Ten Exciting New Voices in Black Cinema (March 2009). He earned a Bachelors’ degree at Dartmouth and a MFA degree  with honors at Columbia University’s Film Division.
