Joshua Kameyer

Josh Kameyer grew up in Northern California where he started writing and producing short films. Having screened films, and shown his multimedia artwork in numerous exhibitions, Kameyer won several scholarships to USC, where he graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Fine Arts/Studio Art. After a a multimedia fellowship at Michigan State University, he was accepted into USC’s M.F.A. Film Production program, where he wrote and directed a short, Live and Die, which screened at numerous festivals, and was voted one of the top 100 films ever produced at USC. During that time, Kameyer started a small production company with a cinematographer, and won the AT&T Broadband commercial account, for which he wrote and directed numerous projects. While attending USC in the M.F.A. Writing for Screen and Television program, and teaching film production and screenwriting at Brooks Institute of Photography, Kameyer won an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Production grant. Having earned his M.F.A., Kameyer went to work at Angry Films developing screenplays such as the Dreamworks picture, Transformers. He has since written, directed, and produced performance car videos for Edmunds.com, and developed screenplays for CAA. Currently, he is working as a freelance writer, and has just completed a national commercial campaign.
