Amanda Tasse

Amanda Tasse received her MFA degree in Animation and Digital Arts from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2009. Her work explores the influence of altered psychological states on perception of memory, time, and spatial awareness. Her organic-digital hybrids integrate old-fashioned and current technologies, and are influenced by research into perceptual phenomenology at the meeting point between art and the psychological sciences. As a PhD student in the Media Arts & Practices program at USC, she intends to expand her multi-media art & filmmaking background to include experimental mixed reality and theoretical investigations into current neuro-psychological developments within memory and consciousness.

Amanda Tasse was awarded an Animation grant at USC in 2008 for Reality Clock
